<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Brevin Knight will have abdominal surgery on Thursday, which will sideline him for at least a month.

A specialist in Philadelphia discovered the severity of the injury during an exam Thursday.

The Bobcats will consider signing an additional point guard.</div>
That sucks, Brevin Knight is one of the most underrated players in the league. I love Knight, and he does so many things for this team. He's the veteran leader, he is an excellent playmaker, he's a smart player, he is a pretty solid defensive player, and he is consistant. The Bobcats will surely miss him for even MORE time.

But, I wonder who they will sign. There really isn't any remotely intriguing free agent PG's out there. Maybe Jay Williams? He's playing in the D-League right now, and he does have potential still, but I don't think that would be the right choice (just throwing a name out there). Hmmm.. Tony Delk? Mateen Cleaves? Kenny Anderson (if he is even still interested in playing)? Erick Strickland? Milt Palacio? Those are some off the top of the head, please fill me in if there are better options out there that I'm not thinking of.
