So, Kris Kobach (I'm guessing his middle initial is also K) was specifically picked (apparently by Mike Pence) to work on voter suppression. I mean, work on "free and fair elections". And yesterday it started in earnest.
Trump’s voter-fraud commission wants to know voting history, party ID and address of every voter in the U.S.

See this from the former head of the Civil Rights division at the Department of Justice:

Fortunately, several states are having none of it:

Here's what a former Romney advisor thinks of it:

It would be nice if you would click on those tiny little pictures and post them so people can read them.

I don't understand why we allow the mentally insane and America haters to vote. We can easily solve this by permanently banning anyone from voting who registers as a democrat.

I'm trying to wrap my head around all this......first Trump claims there was election fraud during the 2016 presidential election. Then he says he won fair and square and that his win was not a result of election fraud. Then he says there was election fraud and that's why Hillary "won" the popular vote. But who cares because he won the Electoral vote and that is how the American system works. Now he wants to invade the privacy of American citizens to insure election fraud that never occurred will never happen again.....got it! I think.............

Kobach organized the "double voter" scam that disenfranchised millions of voters. He contacted Republican secretaries of state and they compared voter lists. If two states had voters with same first and last name, both were deleted as "double registration" even if they had different DOB, Social security numbers, and middle names. Some of the names included James Brown and John Williams, very common names where there could easily be dozens. The affected voters were never contacted and told there was a problem; they went to vote and learned they were no longer registered. By strange coincidence, and of course we know it was just coincidence, don't we, most of the precincts checked for "double voters" had a majority or large percentage of African-American and/or Hispanic voters.

Just like it is pure coincidence that the types of identifications voter ID laws demand exclude student IDs, medicare cards, even state employee IDs but include gun registration. I'm sure it si pure chance that Black, Hispanic and student voters along with seniors are less likely to have the "right" kind but white rural residents are more likely.

It was Kobach who authored Arizona's "show me your papers" law that enabled anyone to demand any person (who looked illegal, you know, brown skin and accent) to provide proof on the spot they were in the country legally. I could not do so if stopped on some random street corner.

He is not known as "king of voter suppression" for nothing.

Wisconsin searched the data bases for the entire 2008 and 2016 elections looking for illegal votes. After spending a ton of taxpayer money they discovered of all the millions of votes cast, seven were illegal and none were double votes or impersonation. Four were people who had lost voting rights due to felony convictions and three voted in wrong precinct.

No one believes that millions of illegal votes were cast in 2016. The idea is to use the overturning of the Voting Rights Act to go back 60 years. Or maybe 230 years. When only white male property owners had the right to vote.

Also I'm not sure about allowing women to vote, like our president has pointed out, women bleed and I'm sure we can all agree that's something no one wants to see in the voting booth.

    Or really, anywhere else.

Let's build a wall between good, honest, hardworking Americans and women. And put solar panels on it.

On the wall. Solar panels don't work when they are covered in blood.
