Most Career 50 Point Games1. Wilt Chamberlin - 1182. Michael Jordan - 313. Elgin Baylor - 174. Kobe Bryant - 165. Rick Barry - 14I'd just like to point out that no one, ever, will catch the Stilt. He has more career 50 point games than 5 through 2 combined.

If he played today, he would be "just another big man".

And don't be pullying up "well Shaq is an inch taller and 40 pounds heavier" because Wilt was FAR more athletic. Present me with Hakim, Shaq, Wilt, and Robinson in their primes, I'd take Wilt, then Hakim, then Shaq, then David.

Another 50 point game for #24.And more importantly, another W for the Lakers.

The Lakers have played decent in the few games Kobe has missed. The Suns have played like shit in the few games Nash has missed

If Nash was gone for a whole season, Barbosa would lead the league in 3-pointers as his replacement. Nash is good, but highly overated. The Mavs got better when he left.

[IMG] The Mavs got better b/c Dirk took over, and Devin Harris and Josh Howard emarged. If Dirk could hit his free throws in the clutch, I would have him as my MVP, but Dirk keeps choking in the clutch, so it goes to Nash

Pheonix adding Amare, Bell, and Diaw didn't do anything at all... nope. It was all Nash. I mean, 3 different starters don't make a difference when the little white guy comes in to replace Starbury....

And besides, Kobe is a one-man wrecking crew. I suppose Jordan shouldn't have gotten any MVP's, b/c he had Pippen, Rodman, and Grant. Or the Mailman shouldn't have b/c he had Stockton. I've never seen a one-man wrecking crew get the MVP

He's earned the MVP by carrying an otherwise lottery pick team in the Western Conference. And without Jordan, the Bulls would have still been a badass team, but it was Jordan. You know, throwing those 50 point games all the time and always hitting those game winning shots.... just like Kobe is doing now WITHOUT the talented crew... which is even more impressive. And if it were today's NBA back then, people would want Stockton to win MVP over Malone. That's like choosing Nash over Marion.

But there is a difference. All these players involved their teammates in the game. Kobe doesn't. That is the main reason why. Jordan involved his team. The Mailman involved his team. Nash and Dirk involve their team. Kobe doesn't, which is why when his teammates get a chance, they do good. Remember the 62 point game?? No assists. The 81 point game?? 2
