Here's a potential trade the Lakers could be involved with if they decide to trade Kobe Bryant.

Someone I hang out with is well connected in the sporting world and he text this to me to get my thoughts on this potential trade.

    Chicago ? Kobe Bryant
Bucks ? Ben Gordon, Tyrus Thomas, Nocioni, PJ Brown (salary cap)
Lakers ? Yi Jianlian, Michael Redd, Charlie Villanueva

I haven't checked if it even works on any of the trade checking sites, but this is the breakdown he sent me.

I don't like this trade at all. It's stupid. We get raped in this deal. In return for Kobe we get a monster contract in Micheal Redd, an average player in Charlie Villanueva, and the 25 year old soon-to-be bust from China. If anything, we should be the ones getting Tyrus Thomas, Ben Gordon, Andres Nocioni, and PJ Brown in the deal. If this trade actually goes down, I will throw up

I don't think Villanueva is average; he's got good range and skills for a big man (maybe a little injury prone though, but he averaged 18/9 per 40 in his rookie year), and Yi is about 23 (says he is 19, lol).

I'd much rather get the Bulls package. Just add in Thabo Sefolosha.
