Yea, very deserving. Bryant was just off the hook all week. Amazing. Looks like he's really beginning to find the touch and it couldn't come at a better time for LA.

Kobe was nailing the turn around J off the glass from the corner of the free throw line all week, it was so sweet...Wade tore it up against Denver

I admit it, Kobe HUGELY deserved this player of the week. I won't argue with Wade, I'm also a part-time Heat fan! [IMG]

We can thank Tim Duncan for that one. Over the all-star weekend Kobe played some one on one with Tim and Kobe supposedly picked up Tim's bank shot from that. Since the all-star break we've seen that bank shot every game 3-4 times a game. It's a great move to add to one's game, and its nice to see someone besides Duncan use it.

No players who deserved it more than these 2. They stood out the most to me this week, and put on unbelievable peformances and leading their teams to victories at the same time. Both the Heat and the Lakers are undafeated since the break, well done.

Wade really scares me, he just has such an overly awesome game. One of my favorite rookies along with Bosh. I never thought I'd see someone so effortless, tenacious and awesome at defense as a rookie in a very long time. Very deserving, same goes for Kobe, he's just been who he was made to be, his defense is what really scares me as well, he is stealing so well again.

Dwyane Wade, previously at #3 behind LeBron and Carmelo has moved up to #1 in the NBA.com rookie rankings, there is more to being #1 than just putting up big numbers, it's who has the biggest impact on their team. According to the NBA, Dwyane Wade has had a larger impact on the Heat than LeBron has had on the Cavs or Melo has had on the Nuggets, and for that he is ranked #1.

I think the ROY award will go to whichever player takes their team farthest in the playoffs. If the Cavs make it to the playoffs and get knocked out in the first round but the Heat make it to the second round, Dwyane will win the ROY over LeBron.
