I was watching NBA Fastbreak last night (or early morning, around 12:30) and they said Kobe Bryant's status for playing at the season opener went from questionable to doubtful. Also, Amare Stoudemire is also questionable.
He better play...I have 30 bucks on the Lakers..... Anyway it is in my estimation that:Will Kobe Play: YesShould He Play: No
I hope Kobe plays. The game means nothing if the Suns win without him there. I expect Amare to play. That knee pain was just one of those days when he had to rest after some practice but I think he had a good practice after that so he'll be ready to play, probably 15-20 minutes off the bench.

It's just one of 82.
Every game matters. It means just as much as the last game of the season that decides what seed in the playoffs you are in.

But other than that and maybe a bit of a confidence boost it's not a very big game.
