Roy is "ahead of his time"? Does that mean his style of play will eventually become the norm in the NBA? It's a nice comment, but I'm not sure it's accurate. Roy may be a one-of-a-kind player.
I take it as meaning that he is wise, composed, mature, etc.. beyond his years and it reflects in his composed and fundamental basketball game. Edit - As well as his understanding of the game is beyond his years. I think Kobe's comment was spot on.
The best advice i've heard is to not fall in love with your players and over value them, and always look to upgrade your team.
Did you get that advice from Trader Bob? It's equally foolish to undervalue synergy and chemistry and make moves just for the sake of making moves.

Umm, no. What i'm saying is don't overvalue people like Sergio, Webster, etc... if what you can get back is a better player. A backup for a starter is always a good trade. I'm just re-iterating what I heard KP say that he is always looking for ways to make the team better, and I agree w/ him. And if you paid attention to any of my posts you'd know that i'm against making a trade unless its a very nice deal. I'm extremely against making a trade just tto make a trade.
