Kobe Bryant scored 42 points tonight, and after a rough first half (5-18), he went on a tear in the 2nd half, especially the money quarter. The Lakers won 97-92 and stayed in the game by hitting the offensive glass and cashing in on second chance opportunities. I was really impressed with the Knicks trio of rookies, those three were all over the court and outplayed the Knick starters. Kwame Brown was terrible again tonight on the offensive end. He had one nice basket to start the 2nd half, but he bobbled a lot of passes and had a typical 6/6 effort. Lamar Odom had a solid game, but is still settling for three point baskets (1-4) tonight.

Bynum was productive in his 6 minutes, 3 boards, 1 assist and 2 blocks. Almost equal production to Kwame even though Kwame played 26 minutes.

I'm really getting tired of Brian Cook, he has to be one of the worst defensive players in the league. He got burned by Frye and kept allowing Frye to cherry pick. It was ridiculous, I'm glad PJax sat him for the rest of the game after that.

Nice win for the Lakers, a much needed one to end the 3 game skid. Phoenix and Golden State also loss for an added bonus.

If kobe drove the ball more, and either finished or got the foul, he would average like 15 FT's per game...making an average of 12-13. FT's don't count as FGA's, so Kobe would average the same amount of points (30 is) on about 17 shots...His efficiency ranking would go through the roof....
