Read a thread on LG today that had an article with a couple of quotes from Kobe. He said he's going to talk to the team's management and Doc's about getting surgery on his broken finger. The article mentioned that he did get surgery on his pinky a few year's back, which was never disclosed before. He said he's going to enjoy the world cup and then come back and get it done. He also said getting healthy was more important to him than playing USA basketball this year. Good news!!! No mention of knee surgery. His knee was fine after it was drained, so maybe he just tweaked it or something that caused it to swell up towards the end of the year.
