Am I the only one who thinks Kobe should rest at least another week? Obviously, his presence and play is beneficiary to the Lakers now, but they should really be looking to the playoffs. After the Minnesota game, the Lakers play Chicago, Orlando, and the Clippers twice...Does Kobe really need to be back so quickly? I realize they lost to Utah and Atlanta without him but nonetheless, the Lakers should be able to handle it without him...
I think Kobe should have taken at least a week off. But, it's up to him. If he can play with the injury, let him I guess.
I guess Kobe coming back is he's confident that he's going to be extra careful in the game to avoid futher injury, that is by being less aggressive scoring and distribute more... and that's what exactly he did. He knew coming in that his presence will boost their morale. The opponent is Boston on its homefloor and this team was on a hot streak, so a win here is huge and Kobe provided that. I say good decision by Kobe.
Kobe is a competitiors and its cool seeing him contribute to our team but i as well think he should have rested another week so that he can be at his best when playoffs are on the schedule or fight for a playoff place.
