Kobe is already in the gym with the likes of Brian Grant, Chucky Atkins, Luke Walton, Kareem Rush, Caron Butler and others according to Gary Vitti the Lakers trainer. I can't wait! Imagine the chemistry they'll have in two months? Damn!! I apologize that I don't have a link setup for it, but it was broadcast on the radio. He also pointed out he hasn't seen Kobe so happy and energetic before.
Kobe WILL tear <strike>shit</strike> up. <font color="Red">Watch your language. It's not tolerated here.--Emo</font>
Great news thanks for the info. I can't wait to see those guys play. They're already getting ready to play good job KB put your foot down and make everyone work hard. Can't wait to see them play, I wonder if KM was there also.
I dont see much in this really those players may be there, but Grant, Rush, Walton, and Atkins (maybe) will all be backups. I wont be impressed until I see players like Lamar Odam, Devon George, Vlade Divac, and who ever has a shot at starting at the point in there training, because although all those players a a key element of the Lakers bench they are just that the bench they are not the starters well most of them anyway. They will not be the ones arguing with Kobe for shots or playing 30-35 minutes a game when playing a tight game. So I want to see thhose guys in there before I say good news. Just my opinion.
im glad. I wouldnt be surprised if kobe averaged 30+ points and everyone elses numbers are up to. Its gonna take awhile to get back to championship form but it will happen
I'm just happy to hear this becasue this means Kobe is socializing with his teammates. Kobe is now "the man" and he is expected to take on leadership responsibilities. You can't lead if nobody is on your side...
Kobe and Fisher were always the first to hit the gym and the last two to leave. I'm not surprised to see Kobe together with this group of players. Kobe is a gym rat and will likely be working on another offensive weapon. I'd like to know if he's going to try and bulk up again like he was 2 seasons ago. It's good to see a nice mix of veterans and younger Lakers show up to build the "team chemistry." The Lakers have a lot of new faces, and the more time they can spend bonding and playing together, the better we will be when the season starts. Lamar Odom is probably taking some time off, because he just played in the Olympics.
Man this is gonna be a great season just thinkin about the players and kobe allready excites me more exciting then last year to tell you the truth.
well i'm really happy for kobe. and judging from kobes intensity on the court i'm starting to think and realize the possibilities kobe has if everyone on his team is on the same page. no offense to any laker fans but i see the chemistry that the kings had somewhat developing here on the lakes team. i cant wait to see kobe and the new lakes play. to tell you the truth without shaq the lakes are more deep bench wise which is a whole lot better than a team of two stars in my opinion. which the pistons showed last year in there rally at the finals. and to show my respect to kobe i will start back rocking my kobe sig. much love kobe.

He's not a loaner anymore and the Lakers so far look pretty promising for this upcoming season.
I didn't know if I should make a new thread about this but if it needs one tell me or someone can make it. I found this article I think some will find it interesting. According to Mike Kahn KB is the third-best shooting guard in the last 20years. Keep it up KB. Make us proud and be #1 again next year. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Ranking the shooting guards: 1. Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers: Unquestionably the third-best shooting guard of the past 20 years once you get past No. 23 and No. 45 ... Michael Jordan and, uh, Michael Jordan. 2. Tracy McGrady, Houston Rockets: Coming to the Rockets is a chance for T-Mac to redeem himself and silence all the critics accusing him of being a quitter last season. </div>
i want to the dodger game tonight, guess who was there hanging out together Luke, Rush, and George. it was awesome when i sa them on the big screen i ran around the ball park trying to find there seats, i think they were in the 'dugout' club right bhind the catcher u kno lol
