Re: Kobe's chances of winning the MVP? I think Kobe can not win it because the voters are stupid and will give it to Steve Nash again. Kobe carries his team on his back without Lamar Odom most of the time. This year for the Suns, Boris Diaw showed up, Raja Bell showed up, and what about <Censored> Shawn Marion? And they say Steve Nash has no one. Kobe has done everything, he shoots, he scores, he gets 5 assists, 6 boards he makes crazy shots, shots 10 feet away from the 3-point line, scores at ease, gets a couple of 60+ games, but people don't act as if he is the Most VALUABLE player. Imagine the Lakers without KObe Bryant?
Re: Kobe's chances of winning the MVP? He should win it IMO. Take both players of their teams, and the Lakers have a good chance at being 0-82, and the suns-- they have very good team w/o Nash, some (a slight amout, but still) even say Marion is a candidate. So come on! Go Kobe! He accounts for more than 40% o0f the team's scoring, with assists included. It's close. But Nash will probably win it. sadly.
Re: Kobe's chances of winning the MVP? Kobe should definatley win it, there is not one other person in the legue that comes close to what Kobe can do, but I don't think he will win it because everybody thinks hes "A greedy ball hog" when hes doing all that needs to be done to win, Michael Jordan done it and hes considered great, but Kobe is considered greedy... Went off topic there but I don't think he will win it because a lot of the voters will problay just see him as a ball hog and not a man who single handedly is taking his team to the playoffs
Re: Kobe's chances of winning the MVP? Yeah and that's why I think Nash will win it. "will" is the word for me, not "should". I think Kobe should win it.
