Great timing, Koren. Thanks for guaranteeing a major distraction during training camp. Welcome to the Vikings, Childress.

Troy Williamson will probably be #1. Man, in one day we lost our starting WR and a starting LB (Greenway is definitely out for the season).

Robinson just signed a nice 3 year deal in the off-season. This is a huge lost for Minnesota.

I don't know - everyone knows that the Vikings are going to have no passing game, and that offensive line is playing together for the first time (although the players on the line are phenomenal) - could be a rough year for any offensive player on the Vikes.

Yeah I think it's going too be another rough year for the NFC North in general. The Bears looked awful and might have too start 1-3 before they put in Griese and finish 10-6 and win the divsion. Minnesota looked ok against the Raiders but with no Culpepper, Moss, Robinson. A pretty much new team and new system, they're going too struggle. Green Bay has talent but no experience. Half the roster is made up of rookies and 2nd year players. Detroit has a new system but none of their players fit it and as long as Millen is GM, I don't see much sucess in they're near future. Ekkk more NFC North Bashing from Sunday Countdown this year. :reallysick:

They just said he was the feel good story of the NFL last year. Oh well if we win the division at 7-9 we still get a home game don't we

I doubt Koren Robinson had any intentions of drinking. Alcoholism is a difficult thing to overcome. I just hope he doesn't give up trying.

I really believe that his demons got the better of him. The blood alchohol levels came back at .09 - this is probably the most sober DUI a Viking has ever received.

Robinson will probably be suspended for the year. He has felony accusations and has already served a 4 game suspension for substance abuse. The question remains as to whether or not the Vikings will keep him or cut him. My hope is that they keep him and show him some loyalty. The fact is, he has shown some incredible determination in making as much progress as he has.

well my younger brother is a recovering addict & he's been clean for 3 years now. He's told me many stories of people who've relapsed. Luckily for him that hasn't happened.

Although it can be very hard to break an alcohol addiction, it can be done and I have trouble giving any sympanthy to someone who allows themselves to drive drunk. Just because you are addicted doesn't give you the right to risk other peoples lives. I mean, I don't think it's too much to ask alcoholics to limit the number of peoples lives they ruin to themselves. It shouldn't be that hard for someone to make sure they don't drive when they get drunk, and if they can't find a way, well then they shouldn't drink at all. I don't understand why people get drunk anyway, you act stupid and then in the morning don't remember it anyway, and spend all day getting sick, really isn't much fun.
