Carlos Condit was offered a short-notice fight with Josh Koscheck for UFC 137 this past weekend when Georges St-Pierre, his original opponent, withdrew do to an injury incurred in training. Condit decided not to take the replacement fight and instead wait on St-Pierre. As we all know now, Condit lost his title shot--being a replacement fighter himself for Nick Diaz, who will now fight St-Pierre in February--and now is being chided by Koscheck for turning him down. Koscheck wants to fight Condit and there is a chance the two will be matched up at UFC 142 on Superbowl Saturday, where Condit has been promised a title-eliminator bout with a welterweight contender.
