<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">When Nenad Krstic took off last summer to prepare what he called the most important season of his career, he made a promise to Serbian hoops fans. He would play in Eurobasket in 2007 and the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Then, last December, Krstic blew out his ACL and was sidelined not just for the season, but for Eurobasket. Now, he won't have much to do next summer either--other than negotiate a new contract--since Serbia failed to win a game in the European championships and is disqualified from the Olympics. Same goes for Mile Ilic.</div>

Man that really sucks for a young dude like Nenad. It would be nice for him to get an experience like this. Oh well, maybe now he'll have more time next summer to just train harder.

Serbia was threatening him with things like the army, and revoking his dad's visa. I see that as the only reason he agreed to play for them. We saw the true colors of Darko, imagine the government.

Too bad for Nenad, but I prefer Israel advancing over Nenad getting to play in the Olympics. [IMG]
