Since Greg Robinson has resigned as the Chiefs DC, KSGSC will no longer be on the campaign trail to get him fired, and thus, will sadly be unemployed. Of course, he will be easy to spot....the "giddy" one in the unemployment line.

Now for his wish list of replacements......

I would love to land someone really high profile like New England's guy, but he's not going to leave except for a head coaching position. I'm not really sure who's available. I wouldn't mind bringing Gunther Cunningham back. He was a good defensive guy, just not a great head coach. He would bring discipline and work ethic to a unit badly in need of both.

Anybody else got any names, I haven't heard any word from KC headquarters yet. Too bad this isn't Madden 2004. I would just shell out the bucks and make Bill Belicheck or Marvin Lewis our D-coordinator at HC money. lol!

Don't get too excited, KC, but I just read in the Tennessean that the Chiefs have asked for permission to speak to Gunther Cunningham about the DC job.

I thought Gunther was a fine Defensive guy for us. Year 1 under him we had the best scoring defense, and his 2nd year we were the #2 unit overall. He is a good coach, just not a great head coach. I have read several sportswriters out there saying the same thing. I heard he still talks fondly of his KC years and really loved it there. I hope he will consider a return. I am still interested to see what other names come out of the woodwork though.

I don't know about a DC, but I hear that KLEENEX is looking for a new spokesman. Know of anyone?

Sorry KCGSC, but I couldn't resist. I know I will get it for this one but it's all in fun![IMG]

At least my coach has a masculine name (very masculine), while yours is appropriately named "Lovie". Kind of makes you think of Gilligan's Island doesn't it? I thiught the Bears were comical in their visit to KC in week 17. (I mean, you guys barely scored against our defense.) Got anything else?

Oh, theres plenty more where that came from my friend. I hear that VERMEIL has signed a two year extention with the CHIEFS, so I know your happy. I was wandering if you could possibly use that box of tissues now KCGSC(HA,HA)! Don't worry about VERMEIL, I hear that he has always been that way.

Sit right back and you'll hear a tale
A tale of an awful team
They couldn't reach the Super Bowl
But yet, they dared to dream...

(sing to the tune of the Giligan's Island theme)

Maybe I'll finish that one for you later 4th!

I feel a made for tv movie coming. Maybe Urlacher can talk Paris Hylton into playing "the movie star".

If PARIS HILTON is playing the movie star can I play URLACHER? I'll be sure to wear my helmet. I got your e-mail on our possible new OC and I hope he can bring us the same glory on offence as he has for you guys. Maybe things are shaping up for my BEARS. By the way, we both know we don't want to go to the poems, now don't we?[IMG]

Forget it. You can't play Urlacher.
btw. That was a song parody - NOT a poem.
I'll finish it up as soon as they give us relief from all the OT at work.
I can barely squeeze in my Madden, moreless find time to write parodies.

I seen today where you guys may interview with our old DC. So we trade an OC for a DC, eh? I also seen where we are looking at getting the BUCS DL coach to be our DC. The CHIEFS offence with the BUCS defence, wow! Now if it will all just work out.[IMG]

Hey that sounds like a good trade for both parties involved. It doesn't matter which NFC team makes it to the Super Bowl next year so long as they play my Chiefs. lol!
