VITALS: 6-11, 250, Wake Forest OVERVIEW: Finished four-year career by leading Wake Forest in scoring with 17.0 points while starting all 31 games. Also paced the team in rebounding (7.4 rpg) and blocked shots (42). Averaged 18.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in two Atlantic Coast Conference tournament games. Scored a career-high 27 points, grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds and blocked a career-best five shots in a loss at South Florida. Had 16 points and 16 rebounds in a win over Texas Tech in his junior season. LIKELY DRAFT POSITION: Second-round pick. COMPARATIVE UPSIDE: Michael Doleac COMPARATIVE DOWNSIDE: Todd Fuller ROLE PROJECTION: Backup center. POSITIVES: Visser can shoot the ball facing the basket as well as score down low with a series of fakes and feints. He has a couple of different releases on his hook shots, and he has good hands to catch and make short baseline jumpers after guard penetration. Visser has the strength to hold his position on the block and is deceptive enough on his post moves to draw plenty of fouls. Visser can run the court well for a 7-footer. SHORTCOMINGS: Visser doesn't have the long arms or great timing that would enable him to block a lot of shots and be an intimidator close to the basket. While he is strong, Visser can pick up a lot of fouls in a short period due to his tendency to try to strip shooters on the way up. Visser is not a quick leaper, so despite his size, he doesn't get many rebounds that are not directly in his area.
