Boozer's defense was not up to the standard in the last game, and against Brand he will have to pick it up. Both will be trying to score, rebound and get the best of each other. Prediction This is just another game which the Jazz would love to have Kirilenko. Simmons is having a great season so far, but any Forward would struggle to score against Andrei Kirilenko. Teams score and win a lot easier with Kirilenko on the IL. I think Corey Maggette and Elton Brand will have a good game for the Clippers, Carlos Arroyo and Mehmet Okur for the Jazz. Clippers 96 Jazz 90
If the Jazz play like they can, they will win; if they play like they have, they will lose. The key to this game is Bell containing Magette and the play of Boozer and Brand. The Jazz should really go to Harpring, in the first game against Portland, Harpring played well, seemed to be back to pre-injury days. I could see the Jazz winning this one by 6, a close one through out.
after losing to the Pierce-less Celtics in 2 OT...I don't think the Clippers can win this one after a few hours of traveling and play the Jazz. I think Jazz will take this game at home just due to the fact that they play tough at home, and the Clippers will not answer after their dissapointing loss to the C's. I expect Boozer will come out to play a great game. My prediction: Jazz 98 - Clippers 88
The double OT loss really plays into Utah's hands. LA just finished an extremely physical and intense game, and now have to travel to Utah the day after. The Clippers will need to bounce back from the loss and be ready to play, which isn't easy to do.
Listened to the end of this on the radio..... Close game, Jazz get the win over clips 93-91. A very needed win for the Jazz. Okur 19 pts, Harp 16 pts, and Boozer 13 pts. Apparently Sloan got mad at Arroyo and benched him most of the 4th..... wonder what happened...
Man, I thought we'd have this one, good game, Simmons should'nt have gotten in foul trouble, he could've helped more, but Okur played well, and it was close
