Bobby Simmons scored 26 points and Marko Jaric chipped in 25 to lead the LA Clippers past the Memphis Grizzlies, 106-103. Elton Brand added 17 points and 11 rebounds. The Clippers have won their third straight game and five of their last six games. The win snapped the team?s six-game road losing streak and got only their second victory in their last 12 road games.
This game put the Clippers at the .500 mark, it was a great win, shooting 59.7% against the Grizzlies, especially at their own floor is just amazing. The Clippers played very well in the 4th, but I've never seen so many missed key free throws down the stretch in my life. Jaric had the stupid foul on Mike Miller, but Miller was unable to convert the and 1 free throw, and Brand's clutch block, and his big offensive rebound earlier helped.
