The Lakers have been shopping Andrew Bynum and Chris Mihm. Lamar Odom can be had, too, but the price is significantly higher. Their target in the draft? Brandon Roy. The Lakers deal would probably have to be a three-way trade: Boozer and the No. 14 going to L.A., with Odom ending up at another destination. Odom wouldn't be a great fit for Utah, but he could be the player to get them the two guard they want. One rumored deal has the Warriors swapping Dunleavy, Murphy and the No. 9 pick to the Lakers for Lamar Odom and Aaron McKie. A rumor that was floated last week had them talking with the Los Angeles Lakers about a deal that would send Lamar Odom and Andrew Bynum to Chicago for Tyson Chandler and the No. 2 pick.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting LO7:</div><div class="quote_post"><font color=""Black"">Phil Jackson: </font></div> PJax doesn't have the final word on any deals. If he did, the Lakers would have Ron Artest on their roster.
Ron Artest would be here and Lamar Odom would be gone, if it were up to Phil Jackson. I don't mind that deal with the Warriors. Murphy can easily give us 15 and 10, while Dunleavy could give us 11 and 5. The 9 pick would just be an extra incentive for me to do the deal.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Lamar isn't going anywhere unless these two letters are mentioned in any trade: KG </div> That's hilarious on so many levels.

I don't mind the Bynum for Chandler and the number two deal. Although I still think we should play him more to see his full potential before we make any trading decisions.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting LO7:</div><div class="quote_post">You would take Circuit City over Odom? </div> I definitely would. I'm not sure if the deal was actually for Odom though. One rumor had us shipping Bynum out for Artest, another was Odom for Artest & Croshere. I would have pulled the trigger on either deal to land Artest. Not only is Artest a two way player, his contract is an absolute bargain at only $8M per. I want no part of that Warriors deal, Mike Dunleavy is garbage and he's making over $9M a year. He's not any better than what Luke Walton does for us.
