Laker Showtime will be in full eaffect............. If Kobe can overcome his legal issues and his injuries the Lakers will absolutely wreck the league! With Payton we now have someone who will push the ball. The transistion game will be devastating! Shaq is in shape and Malone can still get up and down the court too. Remember this, the Lakers can 'D' up! Holla!
I agree that the Lakers will be dominant, but this topic has been duplicated tons of times! Go Lakers!

If the team overcomes Kobes legal issues and has good chemisty. You still have to keep in mind that the west is only getting better- so you cant be so biased. Holla!
Have you been living under a rock? This was noticed when they first got Malone and Payton. I do think that the Lakers will be good even if Kobe isn't at his best though. Holla!

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"><font size="3">If</font> Kobe can overcome his legal issues and his injuries the Lakers will absolutely wreck the league!</div> <font size="8">If</font> is a big word. The entire Kobe incident is a huge "if". No one knows what will happen with his pending case. The whole situation is up for debate, however this thread is not the place. I think "wreck" the league is to strong of word when talking about the Lakers this year. Will they be the best team in the league if all of what you say happens? Probably so. However they wont blow every team out. There are alot of good teams in the West such as the Spurs, Wolves, Kings, and Mavs who are capable of knocking out the lakers in the playoofs. People need to start giving credit to some of these other Western confrence teams because they have talent to beat the star-packed Lakers.
The Lakers, by all means, should win it all this year. They have assembled one of the greatest teams of all time. And, they're playing great ball right now. They look good but, there are always others.
Yes, there are others....like the Spurs who took the Lakers to double overtime without having Tony Parker or Tim Duncan. That's pretty sad that a dream team like the Lakers had trouble with the Spurs last night.
Lakers were not impressive at all last night No Duncan and no Parker..Yet they get forced into double OT....and If it wasn't for some terrible calls late in the game..and that non call travel on Kobe..L.A would of lost the damn game.Jason Hart outplayed Gary Payton for long parts of last nights game....If the Lakers don't dump the ball down to Shaq alot..and Kobe try's to take over..Lakers will not win the NBA title Every NBA contender will hope that Kobe gets greedy and try's to go on on one...because Kobe can shoot the Lakers out of games very easily...

Now folks can just walk with the ball. Sad <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Moo2k4:</div><div class="quote_post">The Lakers, by all means, should win it all this year. I see it like this, You dont get want you want just by trying to get it handed to you.
