I think the only thing holding the Lakers back is hte Lakers. They seem to play well against great teams like tonight against the Mavs then fall behind in the fourth quarter and then only after trailing by 10 or so turn it on and lose at teh end if they play with that same intensity say halfway thru the fourth quarter theyd be fine but they wait till the last 4 minutes of the game. Kobe rarely misses freethrows and Kobe had a chance toi cut the lead to 9 with 5 minutes left adn missed the second of two he let the fans get to him as you saw him shake his head and get psyched out this was the turning point. Also I dont uderstand with Phil putting in Jordan letting the Lakers go on a run and then kill the whole momentum by replacing him with Smush to end the game its a no brainer leave Jordan in and other guys (Turiaf, Walton, Sasha) who are going to play down to the last minute with the same intensity as the the last minutes of the game. I think thats the Lakers problem they have too many guys who lack heart (guys like Cook, Radmanovic, Odom, Kwame) sometimes heart and effort count more than talent and Im sorry but Smush Parker is too dumb to be the Lakers point guard if only Jordan Farmar were taller he'd start in an instant. Did anyone see Smush push Jason Terry away going after a loose ball when it wasnt necessary Smush clearly had the inside track towards the ball he had the angle on it and if he kept going towards it Terry would run into him and push him down instead Smush sticks his left arm out drawing the foul plays like this make me wonder about Smush Parker's IQ... any grown man who goes by "Smush" is clearly not all there imo. Ah I still have hope I still have hope
