Hi two years ago me and a fellow friend went to a couple of games in LA and have since had a basketball argument which we want settled.On the huge jumbotron video electronic scoreboard thing above the court at Staples Center we need to know whether it says the city names or place names.My mate says it shows the city names eg Los Angeles Dallas etc.I never really paid much attention as i was too busy watching the game but i'm pretty sure it showed the nicknames eg Lakers-Grizzlies Clippers-Mavs.We have $ 150 riding on the bet so if anyone out there in Los Angles or someone who has been to game at Staples Center can help us out or post a picture if you happen to have taken one of it at the game it would be splendid.As i said i'm pretty sure it displays the nicknames but my mate says i need proof to get the dollars. The scoreboard puts up their nicknames. It was like that at the Great Western Forum and its like that now at Staples. Here's a link to a pic but you can't really see it with the naked eye.
