Please let this lead into a huge turnaround.Nice triangle execution in the second half. I was really interested in Lamar after he started cutting after the entry. The Lakers stuck Detroit with an 18-0 run, and didn't lose the lead since then. Defensively, we lacked in the first half...allowing Detroit to drop 58 on us easily. What I did notice? After Mihm and Cook sat out, the Lakers were contesting all shots, and Detroit couldn't hit anything. Transitions were smooth, and there were at least two or three rebounders after a shot. Spacing was very nice; Smush and Kobe were attacking, with Odom as well, with 10-15 feet between teammates. Overall, a great game...pretty exciting. Those Sheed threes are scary. Great game for LA, Odom came out of the gates aggressive, Kobe did his thing, Deavon continued to play with fire, and Kwame snatched every rebound in sight.

Kobe's a helluva fighter. He has a sinus infection and flu like symptoms, and he scores 42 up against the Warriors and 40 against the Pistons back at home in two straight nights.

I was impressed with this win over the Pistons. I just hope they can do the same tonight against defending champions.

That was a crazy game. If only they could play like that every game. *Sighs*

Yeah Odom looks very talented. He should be able to be more consistent. The lakers are missing an inside prescence though and that can lead to inconsistency. Also when Kobe isn't playing well they are almost guaranteed a loss.
