Lol, it isn't gonna happen. We don't have the pieces to get both. I doubt we have the pieces to get one. Every team over values their own players. The only reason why we get mentioned with every star that wants out is because writers use us to get hits on their articles.

Bynum is a fantastic player but I want the guy I trade for to be healthy. Orlando would be dumb to take such a huge risk on him. Also the NBA controls the Hornets and talked about competitive balance this off-season....

At this point I might be kind of interested in seeing this happen though. Heat-Lakers 2012 please.

    You're just being humble. :)

So who is Orlando better off with? Bynum or Brook Lopez?

Fools. We have a player making the max that is a shell of his former self. How do they think they can compete with that?

If we amnesty Roy he takes Blanky's position on the L*kers for the minimum. Crunch time of CP3/K*be/Roy/Howard and Jack Nicholson.

Great for them. It's not like we are going to win with this Roy anyway? Hell, we didn't come close to winning with the all NBA version of him

I'm not saying it from our end. I'm saying it for theirs.

If you were GM of any other contender in the league, you'd pay the minimum to get Roy--he's worth that in PR value alone. We're unfortunately in a position where we can't say "pretend that you're just ring-shopping the Big Three of LMA, Wallace and Oden and play a supporting role of a few great minutes a night." If he's here, he's starting :(

If we amnestied him, I could see BOS, LAL, HOU, MIA, WAS, DAL, CHI, LAC, NYK all trying to sign him for the mini-MLE at least.

Again, great for them. Let's start our damn rebuilding sooner rather than later
