    me first attitude
    trade him mitch
Im dreaming with these lineups on the field

    PG: Fisher
    SG: Bryant
    SF: Ariza
    PF: Gasol
    C: Bynum

    Second unit:
    PG: Farmar
    SG: Vujacic
    SF: Odom.Walton
    PF: Odom
    C: Powell - Mihm

I put Odom in the SF and PF position with the second unit, so he can play almost 30 mins per game

sometimes we can step in fisher, kobe, odom, gasol and bynum
sometimes fisher, kobe, ariza, odom bynum (gasol) and we can let rest some of our big guys without loosing all star talent and rebound presence

Odom doesn`t want to be 6th man, because for one it`s a status thing to be a starter, which he would be on most teams, and he is probably afraid that his minutes might dip from the 39 mpg average he has played the last 3 seasons, to somewhere like 31-32 mpg like say Ben Gordon plays, or the 30-31 Ginobili plays when healthy.

I don't really see what his issue would be. Sure, his minutes might take a hit, but I think that's going to happen anyways. He's at a position that we have somewhat of a logjam at, so I expect his minutes to dip a little bit this year, regardless of the fact that he can play the PF spot for us.

I do personally think it'd be best for us to have him on the 2nd unit. While he is inconsistent, he is a solid scorer and more reliable than Farmar or Walton. He'd also give us some added depth at the 4, something we do have a need for.

He would provide so much more off the bench for us, and that in itself would contribute to more winning. If he really wanted to complain about this and it becomes an issue come season time, as in it affects the team and the players, then I would've traded him away to try to get an older Billups and younger Tayshaun Prince, both who would be perfect next to Kobe, Gasol, and Bynum.

I don't see why it matters to him, if he deserves to be on the floor with the starting unit, he will be at the end of games. Phil has always stated that it doesn't matter who starts the game, it matters who is on the floor in crunch time. Man up Lamar, be our 6th man.
