Lakers have three solid picks in a deep draft. With the #10 they should take either Felton or Sean May from NC. If Felton is still around, he is the obvious pick, way better than any high school player, won a national championship with a great program, no attitude problems and would mesh with Kobe and company. If he's gone take Sean May, reminds me of a young Barkley without the big mouth. Works hard underneath and has skills to play D. Was a star in the final game under the toughest D from Illinois. With pick 37, Touriev from Gonzaga, another great athlete, smart, hustles, great attitude. Pick 39, Stoudamire or Robinson from Washington. We need outside shooting and speed at guard for players like Bibby, Nash etc. Remember how T. Lue shut down AI in the finals. If Toronto waives J. Rose, pick him up with our Mid Level exception and try to convince Marshall to join him for help up front.
did you guys hear that interview with sean may about playing in the lakers? i just heard a little conversation on the radio. he said that he will love to play for the lakers grab a couple of rebounds run the floor with kobe and get some baskets. he said it will be great if he plays with kobe.
Felton's good, but undersized, which doesn't go well with Jackson. If the Lakers can move up and get Deron Williams, he will work better in the triangle and will probably start unless the Lakers get a marquee PG.
