The Denver Nuggets are willing to trade point guard Raymond Felton, since they see Ty Lawson as the future at the position, and two teams in the West have interest in him. Yahoo! Sports reports the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings are two teams that would like to acquire the veteran point guard. Felton has one more season left on his contract and he will make $7.5 million for 2011-12. He would definitely be an upgrade for the Lakers and Kings, if they were able to acquire him.
what ways can we acquire him? would an offer of Artest + Walton for Felton +Harrington be enough? (it works salary wise) Artest is the only guy i'd be willing to give up for an upgrade at the point.
I'd do Odom + Blake for Felton + Harrington, honestly. Nobody is going to take Artest off of our hands and to be honest, I don't want him gone. I think he can still be an asset in a more traditional offense, so I want to give him a look in Brown's offense. I'd love to get Felton, though.
