<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">EL SEGUNDO -- With Kobe Bryant out a minimum of eight games due to a severely sprained right ankle, Rudy Tomjanovich figured to mix and match the Lakers' lineup absent his star shooting guard. Whether anyone could have guessed, however, that Tomjanovich would use the combination of three small forwards and two point guards down the stretch of the Lakers' past two games is highly unlikely. Tomjanovich went with the lineup of point guards Chucky Atkins and Tierre Brown and small forwards Lamar Odom, Caron Butler and Jumaine Jones for the final 5 minutes, 38 seconds of Wednesday's victory over Minnesota.</div> Source I'm still not sold on the Small Ball lineup despite the win against Minny. I think the Lakers best lineup is Atkins, Jones, Butler, Odom, and Mihm on the court. I just don't trust Tierre Brown's decision making, ballhandling, and shot selection down the stretch of games. He made a huge mistake against the Jazz leaving Raja Bell open for a three point shot, basically killing any chance to win in Utah.
^Well i'll be careful with what I say about Tierre Brown, cuz I really cannot stand this guy. But I don't think he should ever play - period. Real Deal used to always complain about Chucky Atkins, I said "Hey man Chucky aint that bad." Look at him now, Chucky is playing very well - we just needed to give him time. Well Tierre Brown needs to be waived. I totally agree, our best line-up is obviously Atkins, Jones, Butler, Odom, and Mihm.
