After further review, I want to correct the transaction status on Gordon. Due to the waiver rules and rules of IR, Cuban Missiles and Black Mamba will be awarded Gordon. I apologize to Giants and Preposterous Potbellies for the mistake, but I have to abide by the rules. As the rule states, waiver order is in effect until 8 p.m. EDT on Wednesday. And all of the requests were made before Wednesday at 8 p.m. If you have a problem with my decision, please feel free to discuss on this thread, but that is my ruling. Your Commish
4. Free Agency ? The Free Agency system will be based on worst to first order. The team with the worst record has first dibs on any free agent. The second worst team has next opportunity, and so on and so forth. 6. If the 2 or more teams are pursuing the same free agent and have identical records, then the tiebreaker system is the reverse of the playoff tiebreaker system. 7. The cutoff day and time is Wednesday at 8 p.m. If you have not picked up a player by this time, all rights to the free agent of choice are gone. It becomes a free for all from Wednesday at 8 p.m. until Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ---- In reading the rules & regs, I don't see why I got the short end of the stick here...noone has played any games, so we are all tied...we drafted 2 weeks ago, and waivers are still on??? For heavens sake, the NFL waivers only last a couple of days...although it won't do any good, and this may put me on a blacklist, consider this a formal complaint and an early assessment from me of not liking this format already...
The waiver order preseason is based on draft order. The team that drafted 14 would have first dibs. Look at the site, there's a section on the home page that has waiver order on it. The waiver order basically reads worst to first. Sunday begins waviers, Wednesday 8 p.m. ends waivers. There's no other fair way to do waivers then by reverse draft order. Not everyone can sit at their computer 24/7 waiting for news breaks on players so that they can be there first come first serve. I'm sorry CB, I realize that this takes the ball out of your hands, but it's only fair. That's what waiver order is for. As for this being a formal complaint, it's noted, but unless 10 other teams are going to complain about this system, it is what it is. If enough people have a probem with, I will make the appropriate change. Otherwise, that's my decision.
WHAT THE F@#$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I meant WHAT THE F!@#$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that sux but u cant fight the SHITTY system
SF, i'm sorry, but i find it unfair...i can't & don't sit at a computer 24/7 and my post # proves that...having waivers rules when the draft was two weeks ago and the season hasn't started yet is, in my mind, not right...so basically it boils down to this; with no games played, no points scored, nothing, i miss getting a player i requested because TWO WEEKS AGO i drafted 2 spots in front of someone else, and the day of the request was wrong by 5-6 hours... again, i understand why this happens during the season and a few days after a draft, but i find it ridiculous in this situation where no injury to a player occured... now, unless i have been unclear about my displeasure regarding this matter (which i am pretty sure i haven't been ) i am finished with my rant...i will live with the decision because as i will tell my son when he is old enough, "life ain't fair, you gotta play what you've been dealt"...congrats cuban misslie on your acquisition, and i hope he gets 6 yards on 4 carries the week i play you
It's ok man, I don't expect everyone to be happy with every decision. I hope you don't take it personally because I like both of you guys and it has nothing to do with that. This was an impartial decision. And once again, feel free to lobby to the league. I will change it if enough people have a problem with the system.
SF, i requested Gordon before the 8pm deadline for waivers and drafted next too last, unless orange crush requested gordon he should have been my player

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BearsFan1)</div><div class='quotemain'>SF, i requested Gordon before the 8pm deadline for waivers and drafted next too last, unless orange crush requested gordon he should have been my player</div> Just keep in mind BF1 that IR overrules waiver request. Nedney is out and that gives Cuban first shot. Sorry man.
No because you'd have to wait until the end of waivers to get him and when you actually picked him up, it would become first come, first serve. Why is this so difficult?
There's no confusion. The rules are posted throughout this site. Not to mention, the rules of waiver order that are in place are almost identical to every other fantasy league that uses waiver order. I was pre-law, political science in college, bring it on BF1.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BearsFan1)</div><div class='quotemain'>I did not mean that as a challenge i was only kidding.</div> You know I'm messing with you BF1. I was pre-law / poli-sci, but the was my way of having fun with you. I am sorry that this is an issue with everyone who requested Gordon, but there's going to be sour grapes from someone regardless of how it is handled. And thanks Kenn, I agree completely, but I just don't want anyone to think I'm partial to any teams here (except my own). I want this to be fair and I don't want anyone to think I'm out to "screw" them.
quick question, and I'm sorry if it's already been answered...but if someone makes a waiver claim and had #3 priority, do they get shipped to the end of the line then, or do they have #3 priority throughout the season?
