SECAUCUS, NJ, Jan. 11, 2006 -- Last week, the Report named the nine guys who we would take with us to Las Vegas. LaMarcus Aldridge was not on the list, but was considered to be in the running. Now, it looks like we may need to rethink things. Aldridge has averaged 28.0 minutes of burn in the last four games, after he had played a total of 39 minutes in the previous 10. Last night in Dallas, he started the second half for Joel Przybilla, who hasn't been giving the Blazers much on the offensive end of the floor. In the last three games, Aldridge is averaging 15.0 points, 6.0 boards and 1.33 blocks, while shooting .541 from the field. The increased playing time should continue, especially if the Blazers make a trade before the deadline. Meanwhile, Aldridge may see himself back in the Top 10 on Monday, or a part of our updated Rookie Challenge picks next Thursday. Stay tuned.
