    Management will keep both, so the answer is both. But if I had to choose one; it would be Aldridge.

    So the question is, if we got equal value for Aldridge, an all-star at a position we need like C or SG, would I trade him, since we have another starting-quality PF.

    The real question would be "would you be willing to part with hickson on a sign and trade?"

    No chance in hell Portland trades Aldridge. So it's either hickson + Aldridge and a mid level player(s). I'm fine with that too.

    Id rather not have a headcase who might never get any better then an all nba player in his prime who has a work ethic.

    I think you guys are changing his question. It was a simple question. Who would you rather have on this team if you could only keep one.

    Right now we only have one starting-quality PF signed past this year. Everyone assumes it is a guarantee they could sign Hickson if we traded LMA. We don't know that. Especially if we traded LMA first. You trade LMA and you don't get a PF back, then JJ's agent starts doing back flips because he knows the leverage he has to demand a big pay day for Hickson just dramatically went up. Add two million on to what he is worth.

    Obviously if you stand them up side by side it's Aldridge, but a better question would be:

    Which player would bring more value?

    Or

    or
