<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Don't be deceived by the results and the numbers. Yes, Michigan dropped a tough one to USC in the Rose Bowl and Woodley recorded just three tackles, including one sack. However, USC did a great job of adjusting its protections to account for Woodley, and it appeared the Wolverines tried to stunt him inside far too much. In fact, Woodley showed good burst and power coming off the edge when he matched up one-on-one with talented LOT Sam Baker, who should be a first-round pick when his USC career ends. All that said, Woodley failed to dramatically improve his biggest weakness -- his ability to hold his ground against bigger offensive tackles when teams run at him. Fortunately, that might not matter. There is a good chance he will be moved to outside linebacker in a 3-4-defensive scheme, making his size far less of a concern. More importantly, Woodley steadily improved his sack numbers over the course of his career and did a better job of using his hands when his initial move failed to win his one-on-one battle.</div>

Woodley should be a 3-4 OLB. He's got a great size and skillset for the position. I wish he was a touch faster though.
