Now that Kevin O'Neill is off his back, will he get any PT? He's not the greatest, but is marginally capable at the least.

Rose, Alvin, Vince, Skip', Peterson, Milt and sometimes Donyell (at the 3) will have to share 3 spots.
Considering that Vince and Jalen will get the most minutes at the 2 and 3 along with Moe coming off the bench.

Alvin, Skip, Jalen and probably Milt will have to share the one spot (Skip and Alvin will get the most minutes).

    .. Future doesn't look brihgt for Mr.Murray!

Screw Milt, he ain't getting any minutes this season, not unless he improves his shooting. Alvin and Skip will share the point duties, Jalen, Mo, Carter and possibly Murray will share 2 and 3 spots, Bosh and Marshall will share minutes at the 4(and like you said, Marshall might play some 3 depending on how Murray does) and Rafael Araujo and Loren Woods will share minutes at the 5. I guess the question is.. who do you start at the 5? Woods or Araujo?

Yeah, Murray will be getting some PT this year. Hes the #1 SF off the bench, so he wont get as much PT as Mo Pete, but he'll get some minutes in.

    PG. Alvin Williams
    SG. Mo Pete
    SF. Lamond Murray
    PF. Donyell Marshall
    C. Loren Woods

Marshall will see some time at the 3, but Bosh is going to see a lot more time at Center than people think. I think thats a decent bench, but we could always go for a better Center and have Araujo come off the bench, thats my ideal dream.

Heh, thats a pretty odd statement, not many people like milt but if you watch his game closely he will very well suite the style of game Sam mitchell is bringing to the raptors, milt looks to run the fast break and always has a tendoncy to take it strong and finish. Not only that but he can play his game above the rim, besides being an inconsistant shooter, he is a decent player the raptors should consider keepnig around.

Back to the question, Lamond Murray will just continue to warm the bench, maybe get time if we have a whole shit load of injuries again. which is Hopefully not the case

Sources confirmed that the Raptors will be signing Loren Woods to a 2-year deal. I think there's an article a line or two below this thread... he's 7'2" and 264 lbs or something.

It's not that I don't like him, he played hard last season even though his shots were barely falling. That's a talent issue and he can't play better than what his talent allows him to. Yes, he likes to run and takes it to the hole but if his shooting doesn't improve, teams are going to cheat on defence and double team someone else like Carter or Rose.

For those of you that have followed the Raps, you'll remember how Lamond Murray had a good start to last season. He was getting minutes and shooting the ball well, but he just didn't play hard enough defence to get minutes. And I'm sure the Raps have tried time and time again to trade him but he's making too much money and nobody will bite on him. So yeah there is already a long jam at the 3 with Rose (who should be playing the point - sorry Alvin) and Mo-Pete so I see Lamond sitting on the bench AGAIN.

LOL @ Rose should be playing the point. We did sign Alston for a reason. And even if we didnt, Rose is a medicore PG at best. Hes a 2 or a 3 with good passing skill, but hes a poor 1.
