Lampard’s prospected move to Inter Milan could be edging ever closer

    Lampard is hugely admired by ex-Chelsea manager, and new Inter boss Jose Mourinho, and reports in England and Italy have been speculating for a few weeks now that the pair will be re-united in time for the 2008/09 campaign.

    The Nerazzurri’s primary transfer target this summer is an attacking centre midfielder, and Mourinho believes that Lampard’s prolific scoring record is just what the team needs.

    The 30-year-old’s Italian agent, Franco Granello, has now claimed that he will be having a meeting with Inter in 10 days to talk about Lampard.

    "At the moment I've been on holiday for about a week," Granello told Tuttomercatoweb.

    "But it doesn't seem to me that Lampard's transfer has already been completed.

    "I have a meeting with Inter in ten days but for now I'm enjoying the rest, seeing as I have so little."</div>

    It looks like it M21. Mourinho will not let the chance go.

    Interesting to see if Drogba will be next after Lampard.
