<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">On his impressions of training camp? ?One of the main things that stands out to me is the consistent effort that the players, coaches and staff have put in. At times during a camp there can be a lull or a bad session, but that hasn't been the case with this group. Today for example, after a 2.5 hour practice guys are still sticking around on their own getting shots up, hitting the weight room, doing the extra work. That impresses me. The coaches are getting in as much as they can in the time we've been in and the players are responding to it.? On the overall conditioning level of the team? ?The conditioning has been intense, but I think Terry (Stotts) has challenged them. If the team wants to get out and run, they have to be in great shape and every player, to a man, has answered the bell when it's come down to sprints or conditioning drills. I give them all a great deal of credit for the work they're putting in to get in the best shape they can." On the competition in training camp? ?This has been one of the most competitive camps I've been around. I really believe that all 18 players in camp are NBA players or will be NBA players, and that makes it competitive. And I think early on when a couple of the guys were banged up a little, the guys that stepped in didn't miss a beat. The coaches and staff have stressed getting after it. I think the scrimmage on Monday will allow everyone to loosen up a little. Not that they won't be playing hard, mind you. It's just that it will be a little more fun, game-type situations and up-and-down play. I think playing in front of our great fans will give the guys a boost as well, kind of a reward for the hard work they've put in so far." </div> Read More-including Terry Stotts on his new team
