I accidentally taped it last night thinking I was taping Leno.

    Brutal.

Ya, he's pretty bad. I tivoed his first few shows, but he was so bad I quit tivoing the show. He looked really nervous which I thought he'd get over, but the few times I've seen him since then he just seems uncomfortable. Kind of painful to watch. Brutal is the word.

I never understood why they tapped Jimmy Fallon to do be the replacement. He always comes off as a douchebag who gets awkward laughs instead of providing genuine comedy.

The show I like at that time a lot is Craig Ferguson. It's not the run of the mill late nite talk show. Check it out if you haven't.

I think he's kind of a try-hard douchebag as well to be honest. Maybe it's his accent. I'm not sure, but I don't really care for him. I like Conan (although my mother can't understand why....she can't stand him) and I liked Leno as well...particularly some of his bits like "Jaywalking".

Just watch a rerun of Daily Show/Colbert Report at 1 a.m. if you missed it earlier. That's what I'll do from now one. Fallon was pretty bad from what I've seen. Really quite awkward and bad.

I was gonna come, and post the exact thing you posted. Repped. Since Jimmy is a former SNL guy, he will never have trouble getting guests. The same as Conan, lets re check this in a year or so.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Letterman is the only late-night host I can stand. Even his show is not something I'd watch on a regular basis, but he has some natural comedic gifts. The others are just awful, IMO, and that largely includes Conan. I thought Conan O'Brien was a great writer on SNL and the Simpsons, but as a performer he's nothing special.

The guy who could never keep a straight face on SNL now has to be the straight man for a talk show. How could that fail?

I was never a fan of late-night shows. Fallon just makes it even worse then they already are.

Conan has been a fav of mine for as long as I can remember him having his show. Back when he had his side kick, which is going to be his new announcer.

Letterman use to be my fav, but most of his stuff now seems stupid. To me he's lost his edge. Might have to do with a heart surgery and having a kid, but he's just to nice any more.

You remember when he was first on and had the paranoid guy from under the stairs? I can't remember his name, but he did cabin boy? That was great stuff!

Haha, he'd probably call himself a douchebag. :) He's pretty funny though.

I originally didn't like Leno. Just seem to be a smart ass,,,guess that comes with the territory, but I always liked headlines and eventually started to like him. I seen him being interviewed once and seen that he was a really good guy which was good to see because I really thought he was kind of cruel.

I actually use to tivo Leno, Letterman, Conan, and Craig if they were not a repeat and watch them all. Now it'll drop to three until Jay moves to 10pm and Conan is back. Should be interesting to see the change.
