Great tie for them. Yes a win would have helped but when its a team like Real, a tie is good enough.
Pandev scored both goals. (someones favorite player here at S2)
I'm happy for Lazio and hopefully they continue their success.
GO BEHRAMI!!!! & LAZIO!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, sweet match for the boys in light blue. Well, technically they played in midnight blue today, but you understand. lol

Pandev is the man! This tie is definitely great for them considering how tough their pool is. This allowsLazio to scramble back into contention and keep the Champions League hopes alive.

Next time against Madrid will be atthe Olimpicotoo, so that's a plus.

Goran Pandev is really a fantastic and underrated player. He deserves that '15 Million Euro Man' credit to his name.

The Lazio playershave a lot of pressure on them this season compared to the last wherefans just hoped they would avoid relegation due to their point deduction in the scandal. This season they're tagged for a top 3 finish with Serie A contention and Champions League play to boot.

I'm sure they're just getting started and we'll see a lot more. This club has a lot of heart and is the only one I know of in the World that has kept every major and secondary player in their roster in-tact while adding some more and only losing Peruzzi due to a career-ending injury, which isn't obviously a transfer and wouldn't count.

Thats right, didn't make any moves. Well they wanted to sell Tare but kept him. lol (i'm happy for it though)

The man has been a supposed menace to the club for years now and going to Cagliari where he can shine is obviously the correct move for both sides knowing Cagliari's loss of sell-out David Suazo. Honestly though, I think losing him is the better choice considering how much he handled the ball in stupid situations and didn't bother passing when needed only when he felt the play was dead. It hurt the club in the end and now they seem to be better off.

QUOTE (MainEvent)

Great result for them. I thought they were skinheads.

That's a small section of Lazio ultras that are neofascist. Catagorizing the entire club, players and their fans as skinheadswould beignorant and I don't mean that in an insulting way. Just that you don't know much of the club.

QUOTE (MainEvent)

Oh okay. Isn't Di Canio?

That's still up in the air to be honest. He first made those gestures to appease the fans in that group. The second time doesn't have an excuse, so I'll justwrite that he was a great player in his better days on West Ham and is currently doing a great deed helping a small Roman club (Cisco) rise from the depths of the lower leagues. Note though that he hasn't made these crude gestures since leaving Lazio, so no need for us to put dirt on the man's name.
