Apparently the Joel for Battier trade is, as I predicted, even MORE hated on Houston Forums. I guess this means both Joel and Battier suck. They certainly aren't wanted by either fan base or at least not by the opposite fanbase. I'm retiring this trade idea forever after this but I wanted to prove a point about blind homerism of this board and, well most forums.

Final Tally 74 votes no and 12 votes yes.

    Hehe

Sorry I’m not a big Pryzbilla fan. If you guys tossed Outlaw and Fernandez for Battier, personally I would do it.

    Hmmm...idiot reversed is... toidi

Battier value >> Pryzbilla’s value. You can take Battier, but we want Travis Outlaw AND Rudy Fernandez. As a consolation prize, you can take back Bryan Cook’s bad (expiring) deal and Brent Barry’s said 1 year deal as well.
That’s how much we value our ‘no-stats’ all-star.

In Daryl Morey, Rick Smith and Ed Wade we (usually) trust.

[IMG] No, while it's not as terrible of a trade as some make it out to be

It’s pretty awful for the Rockets. Shane’s value is MUCH higher than that. Przy is a good player and a solid starter in the NBA, but he’s 60% of the player Battier is.
