<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The national television spotlight won't be shining on Orlando at all during the 2005-06 NBA regular season, even after a 15-game improvement by the Magic from the year before. The Magic's schedule released Monday includes no appearances on either ABC or TNT and only three on ESPN -- at Cleveland on Nov. 18, at Dallas on Dec. 16 and at Phoenix on March 3. Although the Magic were coming off a league-worst 61 losses a year ago, they got two home games on ESPN and one on TNT going into last season. Of their 41 home games, only a Feb. 26 appearance by Tracy McGrady and the Houston Rockets will be played on a Sunday afternoon. And that game is not part of ABC's new flexible schedule that will allow the network to provide viewers with the best possible matchups of the day. The Magic will open their season the night of Nov. 2 against the Indiana Pacers at the TD Waterhouse Centre. In a scheduling quirk, that will be the lone visit to Orlando by the Pacers all season. The only other Eastern Conference team not to come to Orlando twice will be Vince Carter and the New Jersey Nets, who make their one stop on Dec. 21 as part of a six-game Magic homestand around Christmas and New Year's.</div> Source
