James, who in three seasons as a pro has turned the Cavaliers from doormats into NBA title contenders, will sign the deal after the league's moratorium ends Wednesday, said his agent Leon Rose.</div> Source
Finally. Cavs fans should be happy... Everyone else that had a chance to get him is probably pissed, lol.
Cavs fans can stop holding their breaths about this. James does as I expected him to do and resigns with the Cavs. On another note, as I'm sitting here watching ESPN, they were talking about this not too long ago, and whoever it was that was talking about it believes that the Cavs will win at least 2 titles in the next 6 years (LeBron's remaining contract plus new deal). Not sure if I agree with that....but....that's a different topic.
Hmm, could have sworn he was on his way to New York. The guy honestly loves Ohio, that's what I like to see.
Wow it looks like Lebron is trying to get as much money as he can. His agent found a loop whole in which he would agree to a three-year contract with a fourth year player option. So that he could become a free agent quicker and sign a contract worth up to 150 million dollars.

Either way the agent is very smart.
I'm an avid Cleveland fan but for some odd reason, I would've loved to see him play somewhere else out of pure curiousity.

I just want to remember what it's like watching the punchline of the NBA day in and day out. It's fine to just be a LeBron fan, but I don't see how you can be a Cavs fan but "love" to see LBJ play somewhere else.
As much as I dont like the Knicks, i would love LeBron to play with them. It's a huge market and 99.5% of people all over the world would know who he is.

They'll know him no matter where he plays.
I like the way LeBron and his agent are thinking. The 4th year opt opens up plenty of options for LeBron. If the Cavs make no progress and dont make it to the finals or make much progress, he'll be potentially looking to go elsewhere. I think money is second in this decision because he's getting enough money as it is, but it does play a factor. Though only a few teams would be able to give him the kind of money LeBron wants 4 years from now.
