there have been all of these reports that Lebron wants out or is seeking a trade out of Cleveland, even if these are just rumors it wouldn't surprise me. I think Lebron wants to go to a team that actually has a chance of winning an NBA championship and eqleast make the playoffs, hes just not going to do it in Cleveland period. The Franchise is in the pits, and if i was him i would think about going to up and coming teams like the warriors, Dallas, phoneix or The Knicks. He could do so much more and his career would be better if he just left Cleveland.
He held a press conference and was emphatic about staying with Cavs and playing in Cleveland his entire career. They spent a lot of money this off-season to give him a supporting cast. So to answer your question, he's not leaving.
for some team to get lebron they would have to give up their best player and some. i dont see how any of those teams could give any players without making lebron there only player on the team he was traded to. dallas would definately have to give dirk up, for the warriors probably half of their starting lineup. it would just put him back in the same situation he is in right now. its better to just build off of what he has to work with.
How is the Cavaliers franchise in the pits? They have a All-Defense First Team player, an All-Star center, one experienced power forward who shares the NBA record for threes made in a game backing up another young four who averaged 14/9 last year. And that's your supporting cast. The star, Lebron James, gives you 27/7/7 a night. That makes a top 5 team in the Eastern conference, and one that could definitely contend for the championship in three years.
There has been rumors that Lebron is coming to New York when his contract is over. Its a possibility but the cavs have built a very good team around him. They've solidified every position with talent and finally have a good bench instead a bunch of bums like trailer and harris. The Cavs are two times better then they were last year and they better pray to god that Z stays healthy. I think there is so much speculation that LBJ is coming to the knicks because every all-star has a big town. Shaq has miami beach, Kobe has LA, T-Mac has Houston, Dirk has Dallas, etc. People dont think LBJ in a small-market team can excel. I think he can in cleveland with that great supporting cast he has now. Playoffs is definetely in their sights.

Let's not forget Karl Malone was injured for a majority of the season. When the four of them actually played at the same time, they dominated. Regardless of what LeBron wants to do in the future, the Cavs hold all the cards. He will become a restricted free agent so the Cavs can pay him the most money and match any offer for him.
I doubt this. The guy has been in the league for two seasons and he can't just decide I wanna go win a championship so Im gona act like Alonzo Mourning. Secind of all like people said Cavs signed Larry Hughes and Donyell Marshall, even if Lebron wants to leave I think would at least first try playing with them.

It was mainly kobe and shaq and like shape city said. they still made the finals. NbaBaller I doubt this. What are you talking about? Lebron had his best season last year and he has never even bragged about himself. He even said he wants to stay in cleveland and win a championship. Lebron doesnt want to leave and he's finally happy the Cavs added damon, marshall, larry, etc. He has a better team now, so its less pressure on him since he already exceeded expectations.

Thats what the thread is about him supposably wanting to leave Cleveland.
Lebron is still is his 3rd year. He's not desperate to win a championship. He has his whole career ahead of him and he's not even in his prime. If he wanted to win a championship with a championship team he would want to go to miami. Lebron isnt unhappy in Cleveland. He loves it there. He doesnt want to leave cleveland because he has a very good team now and a very bright season ahead of him. LBJ has'nt even mentioned himself wanting to leave or get traded. he's denied all rumors.

Lebron aint goin anywhere. atleast i hope not. my isp is too slow, i dont want to have to change my avatar
I don`t know why LeBron would really want to leave in the first place. He plays right near his hometown, he has an extremely bright future ahead of him, and he has the role of guiding a team just at 20 years of age. What he has in Cleveland right now is perfect for him and his career.
I don't see any reason that LeBron would want to leave Cleveland right now. They have a young, solid team, which will be great for the next 3 season, at the very least. Maybe, when he's a free agent and he feels the Cavs aren't doing well enough, he'll want to go to a big market city like LA, New York, or Chicago, but that's the only reason I can see that would cause him to want to leave. But, if the rest of the team proves that they can help him reach the finals and win a championship, then he would probably extend his Cleveland contract. IMO, the rest of the team will have to prove to 'Bron that they are a good enough supporting cast to help him win big, in order for him to stay.
This post is probably going to start a debate but what the heck, here goes nothing. Since when are the Knicks more of an up and coming team then the Cavs? With the additions of Larry Hughes, Damon Jones and Donyell Marshell, Cleveland has a revamped roster and is ready to compete in my mind. With so much talent and depth, I think the Cavs are in a much better position to win than the Knicks are.

Shaq left Orlando a team a year removed from the NBA finals, to go to LA a team that at the time was just making the playoffs. Shaq wanted to enjoy his lifestyle in LA not Orlando, the same might go for Lebron in New York. You can argue that Cleveland can offer more money but when you make 90 mil. from endorsement do you care?
Shaq was able to left Olando because he was unrestricted FA. The only way James can walk away from Cavs is in his 5th year, while Cavs will offer max starting from next offseason, which no agent will reject. If James ever demand a trade, it will be after he receive his max dollar, and it can only happen at least 3 years from now...
