LeBron James will play tonight against HeatA sprained toe won't keep LeBron James out of the lineup for tonight's showdown with Dwyane Wade.James worked out with his team at a shootaround and will start tonight when the Cleveland Cavaliers face the Heat at AmericanAirlines Arena.James has missed two of the Cavaliers' past three games, including Tuesday night's home win against Golden State. But Cleveland coach Mike Brown said after the workout that James has received clearance from the team's medical staff.''Based on what the doctors say, he can play,'' Brown said. ``If he reaggravates it or something like that, we'll sit him down for a while. But he feels he's ready and our doctors feel he's ready. So we're going to give him an opportunity.''The opportunity will allow James to share the court with Dwyane Wade in their first regular-season matchup since their April 1 shootout in Cleveland. James scored 47 points and Wade had 44 in the Cavaliers' 106-99 victory. The Heat, however, will be shorthanded. Coach Ron Rothstein said today guard Jason Williams will miss his second consecutive game with an abdominal strain. Heat center Shaquille O'Neal, who missed Tuesday's game against Milwaukee with a strained left calf, remains questionable for tonight.James did not speak to the media after practice, but Wade said he anticipated all along that his teammate on the U.S. national team wouldn't miss tonight's game.James is averaging 27.2 points and Wade 28.4.''It's a big game, right here, the first time LeBron and myself will take the court since our instant classic,'' Wade said today. ``You want him to play. Hopefully his toe is feeling better and he can play the way LeBron can play. I know the kind of competitor he is. I never thought he wasn't going to play.''• Rothstein would not address Eddie Jones' status with the team after the shootaround. Jones was released by the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday and is scheduled to clear waivers this afternoon and possibly sign with the Heat. The 35-year-old veteran guard is a Pompano Beach native and he spent five seasons with the Heat from 2000-05Link
