<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">There is no "I" in "team," although there is a "me" - if you rearrange the letters and throw out two of them.
There is, however, a lot of "I" in "me" - and a lot of "me" in "I," and don't you think the ideal title for Kobe Bryant's autobiography would be "Me, by I"?
Bryant, of course, is his own best friend, his own favorite person and the quintessential "Me" player in the world of sports. He's also becoming one of the least popular.
    This is good.
The New England Patriots and the Detroit Pistons are the current defending champions in the NFL and NBA. And the University of Illinois men's basketball team is undefeated, ranked No. 1 and will likely go into the madness that is March as the favorites to win the national championship.
    This also is good.
This is good because the Patriots, Pistons and Illini are all "we" teams, not "me" teams.
The Pistons' victory over the Los Angeles Lakers' Star Machine last year was one of the most refreshing championship outcomes ever.
The Pistons' victory proved that "we" teams can beat "me" teams. That "we" teams should beat "me" teams. Because basketball is, after all, a team sport. Sure, it helps to have stars, but only if they are "we" stars, not "me" stars.
What makes LeBron James such a spectacular player and personality? It's not that he's the best all-around player on the planet. It's that he's the best all-around player on the planet and will share the ball.
LeBron actually gets it. Not yet 21, he understands the game better than most players five, 10 and 15 years older than he is.</div>

Nice little article. And what makes LeBron special is how he makes the his teamates better. Having 7 or 8 assists a game and not being a guard shows how verstile he really is. He's a great team player, and will be for years to come!

You never hear of LeBron wanting to be the leading scorer or pouting because he's not getting enough touches. He's very unselfish and is happy to distribute the ball to his teammates. He has really matured since he came into the leauge. He knows what it takes to be successful and is willing to sacrifice his ppg's to win.

Lebron is great. But i'm gunna say that Shaq is the best player on the planet that will actually share the ball. 'Bron is like Shaq...they're nice guys that have fun playing the game, and want their teammates to succeed.

It is nice to see a superstar all about the team and not himself, especially at such a young age.

that's why you can't say he's the greatest player on the planet, because he can't shoot the ball and his shooting form is ugly period, he needs to mature more. But he'll never be a great shooter or a clutch player never mark my word. also how can you say he's the greatest player on the planet if he's not even in the level of Paul pierce. Ray allen, iverson, t-mac, vinsanity, kobe, all these players can kill lebron on any given day, and book this down you said Lebron is a team player but he never won any game against vince carter even when vince was playing for the raptors, and even when he's in new jersey now he got beat by vince again. oh by the way he's an overrated dunker, remember back when they played the raptors, vince showed him how a windmill is done, he'll never have the highlight that vince had and still have, and all the dunks that lebron did this year wasn't even close the the 360 scoop layep that vince did against the lakers or the windmill dunk or the off the board tomahawk jam at the all star game. i don't hate lebron but im telling you guys facts. since vince got traded to the nets he's been playing way better than lebron. U just Cant compare the half man half amazing against a player who still have alot of years left to maybe be the best but not now sorry clevleland fans

^^ Ok, lets see where to begin, where to begin. He's 20 years old and in his second year in the league, its a known fact that players coming out of highschool usually just rely on their athletic ability rather than the skills. He knows that in the NBA his athletic skills will only carry him so far, and so he's already began to improve his shot, and it looks a whole lot better than last year. His shot is continually improving, so you can't say that he'll never be a good shooter. Even if he isn't a premier shooter in the league, he doesn't need to be. Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan weren't amazing outside shooters, but they knew what to do to score. Also, in MJ's case he developed possibly the best mid-range shot ever. LeBron is putting up 25/7/7 and you're saying he's worse than pierce, and allen. Pierce is puting up 22 ppg, a little under 7 rebounds, and about 4 assists per game. Ray allen isn't even scoring as many points as LeBron, but the sonics are a better team and blah blah blah. All i'm trying to say, is you can't say LeBron won't be this good, or will be that good, nobody knows. He has the potential to be better than every player you've listed, even vince carter himself (who isn't even as good as kobe, and AI and those guys).

Oh, one other thing, what the heck does dunking have to do with not being a 'Me' first player? Dunking doesn't have to do with how good the player is or anything, so thats just stupid.

hmmm.... a giant vince carter fan that seems to think vince is better than LBJ .... wonder why?....now to disprove everything you say... you said his shooting form is ugly yet he shoots .485 from the field....as opposed to vince's .436 [IMG] ... for a guard in the NBA nowadays .485 is good.... he has improved tremendously with his shot since last year...you also said he would never be a clutch player...how can you say that when he is already clutch?..... saying that ray allen, P squared, iverson, TMac, vincanity, Kobe are better than him? please. have you payed attention to the NBA this season? have you watched LBJ play? 25ppg, 7.6 apg, 7 rpg and 2.5 spg dont lie... <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">sorry cleveland fans</div> no.. im sorry .. sorry that you are ignorant, living in the past and havent been able to enjoy the best player in the NBA today, LBJ. BTW, im also sorry you are still living in a reality were vincanity was a top player in the NBA, he is good since goin to the Nets, but not in LBJ's league.
