just heard on ESPN lebron credited nate for the improvement in his defense and called nate "one of the best defensive minds we have in this league" hmm
Maybe Nate's problem is that he's trying to teach a complex defensive scheme to players who aren't smart enough to grasp its nuances?
Sounds good to me. Sign me up. If LeBron is all about titles, sign here! Live at the home state of Nike. I'm sure he loves defense, too!
Aaah comon. Give Bayless, Roy, and Aldridge some love. It's our 2 PG that keep leaving our bigs out to dry on the perimeter and letting opposing PG penetrate the key.
I think it odd that Nate is so widely respected and so ineffective as a head coach in his career. Ed O.
I actually don't think they all suck on defense. I think our coach has really poor defensive schemes for our personel
I don't think he is. I haven't heard a single thing from anywhere, ESPN, SI, nobody seems to mention whether he is a free agent, so I doubt it.
I wouldn't say he's ineffective- with the Blazers, he's overacheived arguably every year that he's been here. The Sonics haven't been nearly as good since he's left. I think he's widely respected because he does well with the personnel that he has.
scapegoats are fun. i think this whole team sucks on defense right now. sergio, blake, roy, rudy, TO....the list goes on and on with how bad we play on D. and i'm sorry but nate has to be calling for the switches, maybe it's because he knows our one on one D is no good, but you don't get 1/2 through the season doing something as fundamental as that without the coach approving it.
