Today in The Washington Post under a section in the sports it has this thing called "Wizards Insider" it said "Arenas has averaged 29.4 points, 6.1 assists and 5.5 rebounds. Kevin Garnett, LeBron James, Paul Pierce, Tracey McGrady and Baron Davis are the others in the 20-5-5 club". These are the elite players in the NBA and LeBron as a Rookie is performing at the same level as them. Also, notice who isn't on the list? KOBE BRYANT!! LeBron is putting up better numbers than Kobe can you believe it!
^Yea. I was reluctent to post this but i think it is a stat tthat people who are still hating on LeBron need to see if you want to close because it will be a problem topic then i guess you can. Just wanted to share the information.
I'm surprised, not just because of LeBron, but also Arenas. He's a hell of a player to, 3rd year in the league.
i watch most of his games because im in northern VA. but when the wizards are healthy the one two punch of Juan and Arenas....... God they are gonna have some great seasons ahead of them. I honestly think that arenas could get a triple doule 1 out of 3 games.
That is not what Arenas is averaging, that is just the current streak he is on. Kobe has been injured, out of shape, depressed (all his fault of course) so I will give him that, LeBron is not at his level yet however. Fantasy wise, yes, you take LeBron over Kobe. I agree that people don't look at LeBron's all around stats and that they look at scoring too much.
A question, do you think LeBron will be on All-NBA team 1, 2 or 3 this year, or is that impossible for a rookie?
^ Of course it is not Norway. James can have the stats and the playoffs, if that is how it works out, I don't see why he can't beat out some of these vets that missed the playoffs and had fewer numbers.
Will he? No. Should he? Absolutly. LeBron got snubed from the all-star game so i have no doubt that he will get snubed from honors of being on any of the All-Nba teams. If he did i think he would get at least on the 3rd team.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting DajuanWagner#2:</div><div class="quote_post">A question, do you think LeBron will be on All-NBA team 1, 2 or 3 this year, or is that impossible for a rookie?</div> In all honestly I wouldn't really considering putting a player in one of those all NBA team's unless his team is at least 500. Lebron's day will come to make the all NBA first team, will likely make at least 10 of them by the time his career's done.
Getting the Cavs in the play-offs alone should qualify him for a spot on one of the all NBA teams. Hahahaha.
Agreed with AllNet, first team you have to have numbers and a ton of wins. Though it is unfair a bit because we had Ricky and Darius for most of the season, had an 18 year old point guard. Since the last trade, the Cavs have been an elite team in the East. First team, 2nd team maybe not, but 3rd is a possibility.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AllNet:</div><div class="quote_post">In all honestly I wouldn't really considering putting a player in one of those all NBA team's unless his team is at least 500.</div> So McGrady, Iverson, and Pierce don't deserve to make any all NBA team?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting redscoon:</div><div class="quote_post">So McGrady, Iverson, and Pierce don't deserve to make any all NBA team?</div> They may deserve to make it because of their great stats but to me wins are always important when deciding all NBA first team awards. Pierce, Iverson and Mcgrady not only had great stats last year but their teams were all above 500. And for the record Allen Iverson has missed too many games this year, he hasn't played enough games to get in. I agree after the Ricky/ Jeff trade there KJ, Cavs would be an above 500 team had they had this current roster at the start of the year. The voters might see that.
Actually, Cavs have the 2nd best record in the East since the J-Mac trade at 15-8. I'll let that speak for itself.
