Oh please, this really is getting ridiculous.

Detroit kills Detroit in game 1, whats the head story? "LeBron fails to spark", Detroit kills again in Game 2, the head story? "LeBrons Cav's Fail To Fire", Detroit loses game 3, whats the head story? "LeBron wins game for Cavs!".

LeBron is good, very good, but its insane the amount of coverage and praise the media gives this guy, Detroit wins by 27 points, and the main story is about LeBron, get off his nuts already and start praising the guys who deserve it in the right situations.

Cant Agree more with you NTC187. The Team Basketball has won the past three championships. Lebron wont beat Detroit on his own, but others need to be praised and discouraged for the team to get better. If all the blames on Lebrons shoulders then it wont push anyone but Lebron to get better.

Dont get me wrong, Two triple doubles is very impressive and i do hope he can prove all the critics wrong!

LeBron's stats this year are almost identical to Jordans in his 3rd year.

    LeBron = Jordan

For every example that someone says he's not, someone else will site an example that says he is!

It's about time someone stepped up in the NBA to ball above all like Jordan once did.

Co-sign comparing players to MJ just insults both MJ and the players.

Well Scottie Pippen already insulted MJ, by saying that by careers end, Kobe will be better than Jordan.

OMG! Two triple doubles? To be honest with you, I don't find those impressive. They build up personal stats, but what does it do for your team consistently? Does it help CLE win the series? I honestly doubt it. When the Cavs were slaughtered in games 1 and 2, where was the "LeBron didn't show up" talk. But he gets a triple double in game 3 and the whole world revolves around him?

Well, I am not going to take sides in this because I think I might be a little biased. But, as we all know he has done great in the playoffs but at the same time so has Filp, Drew, Donyell, Eric, Z, and Larry. Everyone on this team deserves more props then they get (besides LeBron). Truthfully though, LeBron will be great when we look back on him in 20 years.

    clarification

Pippen never said that Kobe will be better than Michael it was a discussion between him and Mark Jackson and Mark Jackson was the one who said it, but today he said he retracted after what he saw in game 7.

    LBJ is no Jordan!

This is coming from a HUGE LBJ fan. I am sick and tired of the MJ comparisons. LeBron is NO Jordan, he never has been, and he never will be. He's not even the same style of player that MJ was.

But I'll have to accept the fact that ignorant NBA fans will compare the two, so let it be.

Everyone always uses Lebrons TD's as a status symbol. Trips are nice. They are not easy to get, but they are not too hard if you play a postion that allows you to get them much easier.

In comparison to a legend. Jordan has 30 trips in his entire career! Yeah, just 30. 27 of which came in the regular season. 3 in the playoffs.

So what now? Lebron is better than MJ because he already has two in this years playoffs? PLEASE!! GET REAL. Those 30 trips from Jordan come from someone who is arguably the greatest player ever to play the game of BASKETBALL! Does that make Lebron better than Jordan? Hell No.

Triple Doubles depends not only your skillset, but what postion you play. Magic has 138 and he is a SF/PG, Wilt Chamberlain has 78 and he played center, Bird had 59 and he plays SF, Kidd has 75 and he plays PG. Oscar Robinson had 181 and he played PG.

Lebron is a Magic type player. He has great court vision, can pass the ball well, and his size allows him to rebound and score around the rim easily. He'll get the TD's in the playoffs. He is the CAVS focal point so his opportunities and postion on the court allow him to do this.

If you notice the big time Triple Threats are never SG's. Who are SCORERS. Jordan has just 30 in his career, but it definately has to do with the position he played for his team. Lebron is impressive, but it doesnt make him a Michael Jordan or even a Kobe Bryant. He plays a different postion, and his stats are going to look different because of that.

Again, Triples are nice, but Triples=championship? Come ON! It takes alot more than stats to earn a ring.

Sorry for the long post BTW. I just get tired of hearing how great Lebron is because he has so many triple doubles. Geez.

Oh yeah, and Im still waiting for Lebron to stay with his man and stop him from scoring all game. He rotates off the better offensive players. When is he gonna guard someone one on one an entire series and become a defensive stopper? There are two sides of the ball. Jordan and Bryant can play both sides. Can Lebron?

Different players have different roles in a team. LeBrons just happens to be giving the ball up more and controlling all the plays. He's involved in almost every play as either the player shooting the ball or the player with the last pass before the shot. If other players had the same role, they may be producing all around stats like LeBron.

I'm not talking about the rings, you can't take it by rings.

There's a few too many excuses for why LBJ gets triple doubles. He gets them because he's an elite passer. Anyone can go out and try to get a triple double (Bob Sura) but LeBron is the kind of player that lets them come to him.
