Okay, I'm convinced that Lebron James has committed to Chicago ABC news, firstly, is reporting that Lebron James bought a 3.5 million dollar Gold Coast condo. Secondly, the Chicago Bulls issued a "press release" through Melissa Isaacson on behalf of James: This "article" is coming straight from a Bulls PR representative. It contains a large amount of previously unreported information and a strict organizational lean that is characteristic of a press release. The fact that it was given to Melissa Isaacson, instead of KC Johnson or Sam Smith, shows how the organization wanted the "article" to be read nationally on ESPN and not just locally in the Tribune. The real gem in the press release is that it serves two masters. The first are organizational concerns, attempting to underscore that Tom Thibodeau's hiring was busy as usual, and that it would have been handled in a less pressing matter, if not for the scheduling of playoff games and the offer from the Hornets. The second are Lebron James' camp's concerns. Lebron James' camp's only unequivocal comments on the record since Cleveland was ousted by Boston have concerned pushing back against the rumors that he hires and fires coaches and front office staff. There were comments from his camp when Brown was fired, when Ferry resigned, and when the Bulls rejected the idea of hiring Calipari. The fact that the Bulls are pushing a press release that is both a statement of their own interests and Lebron James' interests makes me think this is a done deal.
Some bulls fans dont buy it. The 3.5 million dollar condo. They say that is chump change and more like a guest house for someone with his money. I think if he goes anywhere, it will be here. Just trying not to go overboard on enthusiasm
Made it on Friday evening. DSL didnt get here until yesterday evening. We are still unpacking. Thanks! What about your move? Everything go well?
I'm still in limbo. I think we get to move this weekend, but by the weekend after is quite likely. We're all packed and ready to go.
