Sounds like Stern has already told Lebron it's going to be a Lakers/Heat finals.

Yea if that was really the case I think Lebron would have made the finals the last few years. But he didn't.

That was when LeBron was with Cleveland, now that he's in Miami, he will be allowed to make the finals (or so the conspiracy theory goes).

I love it. LeBron has gone from "we'll win 8 or 9 championships" to "hey- at least we'll make the playoffs!". What a loser.

Great point. Just about any .500 team will make the playoffs in the east. But what winner sayd we can lose 18 in a row and it's OK? Maybe, if their seed is assured, rest the guys and lose a meaningless final regular season game, but some players find even that sticks in their craw. Yeah, greatest team of all time, team that might go 82-0, happy with a 6 or 7 seed in the west?

Fact is they have been exposed. They can't beat good teams consistently and that is exactly what you need to do in playoffs.

You know I think Lebron should put his theory to the test, and the Heat lose every game for the rest of the year. That would just make me so sad to see! :NOTMARIS:

They're focusing on the wrong issues. The reason they were so good earlier is that they played strong D on a consistent basis. But the effort just isn't there against better teams because they let down their D and focus on O more.

I still think they can win the title this year.

They'll eventually figure it out and have enough good players decide to play for the vet min in MIA for a chance to win a ring. Until then, it feels good to get our shots in on those pricks.

What actually shocked me about the game was how truly terrible Mike Miller and Mike Bibby were. Just awful.
