Which explains why James was in New York?s Times Square yesterday helping Cadbury Adams USA LLC launch a new advertising campaign for its Bubblicious brand. James, who chews the gum during games, helped host a bubble-blowing contest at the unveiling. The print and Internet advertising campaign features the Olympian showing off his best moves ? including blowing bubbles.</div> Full Article Article courtesy of NBA.com This guy is way too marketable, its scary.
Lebron is a marketers dream. He's good to the media and has a clean nose. - what more could you ask for? The only 'drama' he's had was a deal involving his throwbacks and the hummer. Petty things like that just raise his stock and popularity.
By the time he is done with his carrer, he'll be making more money than Michael Jordan, and that's scary. Not that the team pays him a lot, but so much companies and advertisers try to get him so bad and pay him the max. I heard he is getting $22 million for just chewing the Bubblicious gum on the court. Not to mention the $90 million dollars that he's getting a 5 year contract from Nike, he also he getting Mega Millions from Sprite. For me, he is the most marketable player in sports today. He also got a commercial from Powerade, shooting 80 footers like nothing. That's a great sign of advertising. He's only going in his 2nd pro year in the NBA, and look at him. He is a king. King James.

The dude could probably have retired right before his rookie season with all the money he made How rich is he now, counting all his deals?
I dont respect the guy yet as a Bball player. He still has alot to prove on the court. Yeah, he scores big, etc, etc........But can he lead a team. Does he have the heart of a champion. When V.Carter first came into the game. I was so in awe about the guy. The next Michael Jordan. Now, I cant even look at the guy. He has not done anything spectacular. (Im not tryin to knock down Vince Lovers) Im just stating the obvious. So when James came in, I just look at him as another player. When he proves himself, I'll tip my hat to him. Until then, James is just #23 for the Cavs. I will admit, he does make money. The guy is living the "American Dream" right now. $22 million for chewing gum? I need a job like that........ lol
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Prodigy:</div><div class="quote_post">But does he have "true love of the game" like MJ</div> If MJ truly had a love of the game he wouldnt of kept doing those little gay retirements.
In reference to John Salley's comments about Kobe featured in an above post. Asinine. I can't speak for Salley's character or his judgment of talent before this, but these two comments merit no creedence. Both statements he made about Kobe were irrational and make me wish BDSSOTV goes of the air. I feel like an ass even typing out that show's initials.
